Life Can Get Crazy

How are you all doing....hope all is well.

I have had a crazy couple of months and big changes.  All good...or at least most change ends up being good in the end.  I got into trouble with credit cards and ended up filing for bankruptcy.  I learned my lesson!  Found out through all this that many people are carrying around a lot of debt--- I heard that the average American or household has $17,000 of credit card debt--wow.  That surely keeps us from having money to enjoy life and experiences--what I believe are two of the most valuable things in life.  These bankers sit on their butts while collecting TEN TO TWENTY PERCENT FROM US!!!!!  And a lot of the stuff that is marketed to us is a want and not a need.  Therefore, we would be better off not whipping out the credit card and .........  The marketers today are very powerful and know just what image or video or words to put in front of us that are very influential to have us buy their ________.  Of course there are a lot of good and valuable things that are marketed to us also.  But.....it is often hard to act only on those things.

Anyway, enough about that.  I recently decided to start writing here once a week.  And also, have a challenge that will motivate me to do that.  And blogging here once a week will help me to do this daily challenge.  The challenge is to talk to one stranger a day.  While doing this I will practice listening with the objective to influence the other person to talk more than I do.  I will start this in five days when at a seminar in San Diego.  This will be fun and sure I will meet a lot of interesting and neat people.
