Life's a changin

Hey---hi

How are you doing....... hope all is well

Well, life keeps a changin.  Looks like I may be moving into the big Seattle area soon--actualy Bellevue.  Being offered I job I can't say no to.  And just as exciting, in one week will be going with my hiking friend Michelle to Glacier National Park for A WEEK.  That is my favorite Natinal Park and where I first fell in love with the mountains and decided to move west --many years ago.

It's going to be a great week there especially because it will be there during my favorite season--the fall.  And, to add to the fun, I will be sharing the expereince with one of my best friends out here in the Pacific Northwest.  I am so grateful for Michelle's friendship and have looked forward each week to spending a day of the weekend hiking in these beutiful mountains together.  And,  as I have talked about in my program,  a benefit from close friendhsips is personl growth.  I have expereinced this with her, including becomeing a better listener.  She was so patient with me and often allowed me to ramble on. I started to become aware of just how much I talked and at first attributed it to my not having a lot of people to talk to and how excited I was while crating my audio program.  Anyway, from our friendship I have become a much better listener and have motivation to become an even better one.

In the next few blog posts I am going to share one of the quotes in my program.  Below is a poem about the pleasure of being around people.
