Living in a basement and no car--all is well

Dec 16, 2017

Hey Hi,

How are you doing....hope all is well

Well, life is good and every day is a great day--even while living in a basement and no car to take me wherever and whenever I want to go.  This is a new experience for me.  Have never lived in a basement before and have always had a vehicle.  Anyway, it's all good and looking forward to living in the big city of Seattle and using mass transit.

Last night I took the bus for the first time--it wasn't bad.  I had put it off for over a week.  I only got turned around once after leaving the YMCA and looking for the return bus.  However, my daughter told me that she misses mass transit because she enjoyed reading on the bus rides.  I don't know how anyone could ride on the bus I was on--way to bumpy and noisy--and read!.  So, I wasn't to disappointed that I didn't leave my place without a book.  That rarely happens!

Anyway, I must not let this living situation nor,  being without a car keep me isolated.  There are so many people around and so many things to do and experience.  I am going to a yoga meetup tonight.  Tomorrow,  a morning ecstatic dance and at five, to a yoga meditation practice.  I want to --I will---I am going to meet new people and enjoy new relationships and friends now that I am settled.  I truly am looking forward to that!

take care,

Be well
